Featuring E-Mobility
Direction and future… the very words by Porsche when E-Mobility was conceived. Since the brand has produced numerous sports cars and has been highly respected on their field, we must know that drive and direction is always in Porsche’s blood (or should we say, ‘fuel?’).
With the innovation of E-mobility, Porsche brings the world the education of minimizing petroleum consumption, and maximizing its potential at the same time. The E-mobility feature replaces the oil with renewable electricity; hence, diminishing its consumption. If you’re someone concerned with the environment, it’s good for you to know that CO2 emissions are also reduced as well as the car’s overall energy utilization.
By pressing the E-Charge button, located just beside the E-Power button, it enables the Cayenne S’s engine running to maximize the recharge and keeps the generator running continuously. Thanks to the 10.8-kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the consumption of fuel is diminished by 20%. After that, the midsize SUV goes into the ordinary hybrid mode.
Performance
This is a Porsche so it only has room for improved performance. With the combined system of the V6 and AC electric motor, the horse power goes up by 36, bringing 416hp available.
