Why There’s no Available Pre-installed Browser on Apple Watch

Lucky you if you own an Apple Watch. Yet, you might just be wondering why there’s no native browser right in it.  From the need of getting a browser into his timepiece, the iOSjailbreaker by the name Comex, put a browser into his own Apple Watch OS 1.0 and get into the Google website.  The said wearable comes in iOS version 8.2 which comes with the availability of what he needed to hack a browser into his device was already at hand.

As all of us are not as cool as Comex, might as well wait for the stand alone apps for the timepiece which will be made available later this year.  Browsers are expected to come along, too.  With this, the positive experience in using the wearable will bring another feather in Apple’s cap.

For the meantime, you need the other half of your timepiece in the body of your iPhone to catch up with browsing and other applications. Besides, scrolling down your Apple Watch display can be a real pain on your thumb (or any finger on that matter) unless it’s a certified emergency wherein your adrenaline rushes and thumbing through the screen doesn’t really matter.

Better yet, wait for the upcoming release of the standalone Apple Watch model (hopefully with proportionally larger screen to thumb through). Remember Samsung Gear S with a special watch version of Opera Mini?  Hope we see a much better offer in the upcoming Apple wearable.  After all, we’re talking of the legendary device maker here.
