In most of the southern states, state educational boards are really popular than CBSE and ICSE. Most of the schools offer education from state boards only and in recent years only we can see some schools offering CBSE and ICSE syllabus and that too in big towns and cities. The examination schedule also differs from state board to state board and central board. 10th and 12th became minimum educational qualification these days and even illiterate and poor people also compelling their children to study at least 12th at any cost. The recent rise in number of students appearing for this exam and the available statistics proves this fact.
TamilNadu state educational board is no exemption to this and more students from TamilNadu opt for state board only. The educational standards of TamilNadu are quite high and it is not at all easy to get top marks in the state board. Though in recent years to promote high pass percentage, the question papers are coming very easily enabling most of the students to pass. It is always good to see that the number of students appearing for these exams is increasing year by year continuously. More than 15 lakhs students are waiting for results in TamilNadu who had appeared for their 10th and 12th class exams. The TamilNadu educational directorate of government recently released the date on which they will release the results. 12th class results will be released on May 9th 2014 and 10th class results will be released on 23rd May 2014. Candidates have to remember their Hall Ticket No. in the examination and their Date of Birth (According to 10th class appearance) to get their results online. Those who forgot their official Hall Ticket number or does not know the date of birth according to official records have to approach their schools for their results. Most of the students are expecting good results as the papers are relatively easy when compared with previous year papers. The results will be made available on TamilNadu educational board official website.
