Anna University TNEA 2014 Admissions Application Form

TNEA is the shorter form of TamilNadu Engineering Admissions. TENA is normally considered as the notification released by the Anna University for engineering admissions after plus two. Students who had completed their plus two or waiting to get the results are eligible for TNEA 2014. As per the reliable sources, the results of plus two this year will release on May 9th and the TNEA application forms will be issued from first week of May. Last Year TNEA applications are issued from 4th May to 20th May and same dates with little change can be implemented this year also.

In TNEA mainly four factors play a crucial role in getting the admission in the required college. The date of birth of the candidate as per his/her 10th class certificate; Marks in Maths and Physics in 10th, Plus One and Plus Two; total marks in the Plus One and Plus Two and the reservation(the community to which the student belongs to). One can have a better idea of this procedure if they had gone through the category wise cut-off marks. Students who got their seat thorough TNEA will complete their engineering at low price and students who did not have their engineering seat through TNEA will have to opt for management seats to do engineering. If you are doing engineering through management quota, the total money required to complete engineering is very high when compared with the normal procedure.

TNEA itself is responsible for filling all the groups in the engineering like Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil etc. Anna University itself is the first college which gets filled with the top rankers. Later on students will opt for different colleges based on their ranks. Colleges with better infrastructure, reputation, education and placement facilities will be filled first and colleges which are last on these parameters are filled at last. TNEA itself is not an entrance exam but one has to go through this procedure for getting their engineering seat. This is a formal procedure which is being followed for years. Hope all the eligible students will get their engineering seats this year and complete their engineering.
