EDCET 2014 Admit Card download

EDCET is the shorter form of Education Common Entrance Test. EDCET exam for 2014 is going to be held on 2nd June of this year (2014) and those who had applied for it can now download the hall tickets.

One can search in Google with keywords EDCET 2014 hall ticket, EDCET 2014 admission card, EDCET 2014 entrance admit card etc and go through the links available or visit the website www.apedcet.org to download the hall tickets directly. To download the hall ticket one must type the details like Registration number, name of the candidate and date of birth etc. One must keep their details along with them before going through the site to download the hall ticket or admission card.

This common entrance test is conducted by Convenor, EDCAT 2014 and APSCEH (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) is responsible for conducting this exam. By writing this exam one can get admission into B.Ed courses. The EDCET is conducted by the Department of Education (DoE) of the Andhra University. The last date for submission and registration of the online application is 09-03-2014 and last date to submit the application without the late fee is 24-04-2014. Those who had failed to apply for the exam within 24-04-2014, can apply within 30-04-2014 with a late fee of 500/-. The date of exam is 02-06-2014 and the exam is of three hours duration (11A.M to 2 P.M).

Every year APSCHE conducts the exam and the competition for this exam is very high every year. Last year more than 1.5lakh aspirants applied for this exam where as this year (2014) till now the number of aspirants applied for this exam crossed 2lakh. This itself shows how competitive this exam is and one must study real hard to pass this exam. Through this exam only one can get the B.Ed admission for the educational year 2014-15. After completing the B.Ed one can apply for DSC or TET and if they are good enough they will get jobs as government teachers in schools ranging from ZPHS, Municipal Schools, Govt. Upper Primary Schools and other government schools.
