IIT’s are very prestigious institutions and are known for their quality educational standards all over the world. Getting admission in them for B.Tech or M.Tech is considered as a great achievement by the students.
Those who are working in IITs are treated with utmost respect in the society and those who are well qualified can only work in these institutions. So people from all over India are keen to get a job in these institutions. Recently IIT Kharagpur released a notification for JRF and SRF vacancies purely on the contract or temporary basis. There is only one position vacant and one can apply for either Senior Research Fellow (SRF) or Junior Research Fellow (JRF) based on their qualifications.
JRF:- To be qualified for JRF, one must have completed their B. Tech / BE or Equivalent Degree in ME / AE / NA with valid GATE/NET score. Candidates having sound knowledge in MATLAB will be preferred. Maximum age limit for candidates is 28 years and the government age relaxation rules are applicable. Based on the qualification and experience the total salary that is given to JRF is up to Rs.14,000 /- p.m.
SRF:- Those who had completed their M. Tech / ME or Equivalent Degree in ME / AE / NA. Knowledge and practical working experience on MATLAB is must. The maximum age limit is 32 years and based on the qualifications a maximum salary of Rs. 16,000/- p.m. will be given.
These positions are to work for the project “Dynamic Modelling And Simulation of Auv Operating In Deep Sea Environment (Sod)” sponsored by CSIR, Delhi.
