Applications are invited for male candidates for Army recruitment officers. It is in the post of Havildar Education in the Army Education Corps in Group X & Y. Candidates hailing from districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh and Yanam (UT of Puducherry) may apply to Army Recruiting Office, Station Road, Visakhapatnam 530004. Candidates of other districts of Andhra Pradesh may apply to their respective Army Recruiting Office.
The eligibility criteria is the candidate must not be below 20 years and over 25 years of age as on 9th September 2014. Candidates below the age of 21 years if married are not allowed to apply.
The educational qualification for group X is :M.A/ M.Sc/MCA or BA/B.Sc/BCA/B.Sc (IT) with B.Ed.
For Group Y is: B.Sc/BA/BCA/B.Sc (IT) without B.Ed
The candidates must have working knowledge of either English or Hindi and should
have graduated/post graduated from a recognised university with any one of the following
subjects :-
(a) B.Sc/ BCA with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology,
Electronics, Computer Science.
(b) BA with English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature, History,
Geography, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics, Sociology.
The height must be 162 cm, weight should be 50kgs and Chest should be Min 77 cm and expansion 5 cm.
Physical fitness test: 1.6 km run in 6.20 minutes. Pull ups should be 6 minimum. Balance should be qualify and 9 feet ditch qualify.
Photocopies of the following documents should be sent along with the application:
(a) SSC certificate and SSC Mark sheet.
(b) Intermediate Certificate and Mark Shet (10+2).
(c ) BA/B.Sc/B.Ed/M.Ed/M.A/M.Sc mark sheet. (separately for each year).
(d) Nativity certificate issued by MESEVA/Tehsildar having SSID number.
(e) NCC certificate, if any.
(f) Achievements in Sports in last two years duly supported by certificate.
(g) In case of Son of Servicemen / Son of ex Servicemen / Son of widow,
`Relationship Certificate’ from concerned record office duly signed by the
CRO/SRO as per latest format.
(h) The photographs of the candidates affixed on the application forms.
