NCC is the shorter form of National Cadet Corps. With a motto of unity and discipline it is working as a subsidiary to the Indian military. People from military come to NCC on deputation generally at the end of their careers. They train the students in different activities and conduct camps to create awareness in the students about Army and its activities. Indian government is also supporting these activities by giving reservations to the candidates who had completed their training in NCC. By completing A,B,C certificates in NCC, one will get basic idea about the training of Army.
Recently Gujarat Additional Directorate General of NCC issued a notification to Stenographer vacancies. Note that Dadra Nagar Haveli, Diu and Daman also come under this directorate only. One need to be completed their 12th or equivalent from a recognised board or university. Along with it, the aspirants must have passed a short had course with a speed of 80wpm. The candidate’s age must be within the limits of 18-25 years. After scrutinizing the applications, the selected candidates will be called for the interview. After the interview, based on the situation there will be a small typing test to test the candidates speed. Only one position is vacant and people from Gujarat and the two UT’s mentioned are only eligible to apply for post. All the applied candidates may not get the interview call as the number of vacancies is only one.
