NHRM is the shorter form of National Rural Health Mission. It is the flagship program of the government which provides medical and other health related facilities to the poor and rural people.
This scheme has the capability to meet almost all the rural health needs. Under the guidance of NHRM, the Chhattisgarh Medical Corporation issued a notification to fill some vacancies to implement the scheme correctly. The vacancies vary from Medical Office, Pharmacist and ANM and the job location is Chhattisgarh. This is a great opportunity who wanted to pursue their career in Medical related job.
The total number of vacancies is 1168. Out of 11668, 584 are Medical Officer Posts, 292 are Pharmacist and 292 posts are of ANM. The applying procedure is very simple when compared with the other exams and anyone who is eligible to apply can easily apply for these jobs. To apply for the medical officer post, one must possess MBBS or Ayush or Homeopathy or Unani degree from a college which is registered with the Medical Boards. Candidates who had completed their D.Pharm or B.Pharm are eligible for Pharmacist post and to be eligible for ANM post degree or Diploma in Nursing from a college which is registered with Nursing Council of India is required.
The pay scales for these jobs are very attractive but still lower than what the private hospitals are offering. But these are government jobs and the job benefits are very high and the satisfaction one will get while directly working for poor and rural people, won’t available in the private hospitals at any cost. For the medical officer the consolidated salary is Rs.20,000/- and Rs.10,000/- for Pharmacist and Rs.9000/- for the nursing post.
