TNDOTE is the shorter form of Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education. This is responsible for the diploma education in Tamil Nadu.
The number of students studying diploma is very high in Tamil Nadu. Those who had completed their Plus Two or equivalent from any recognised board or university is eligible to join in Diploma. Anybody who is averagely talented can also easily join in diploma courses offered by Tamil Nadu State government. These diploma courses are employment oriented and those who joined in these can get an employment offer if they took this course seriously. More than 1 lakh students are currently pursuing their diploma in Tamil Nadu; this itself shows how popular diploma course are in Tamil Nadu.
TNDOTE is responsible for organising the diploma colleges and conducting the exams for the students and giving results to students who are studying in those colleges. This even periodically checks the infrastructure, facilities and other things in the diploma colleges. Recently, this even trying to modernize the syllabus so that it will be much more job-oriented and helpful to students in the real time. This year there is no modification in syllabus and in the results of those who wrote the exam in April will get released soon.
TNDOTE is about to release the results of students who attended the diploma exams in the April of this year (2014). Students who are regular and who got failed in some subjects last year also attended this exam. Thus students from K/ L – Scheme and J Scheme are waiting for results. Presently K/L Scheme results will get released and the J Scheme students results (mostly candidates having arrears) will be released in next month i.e. June 2014. According to the TNDOTE website the results will get published on 26th May 2014 after 5.00P.M. One can check the official website www.tndte.com for results. Apart from this site, other websites like www.schools9.com will also have results after TNDOTE releases the results. One can even visit their college also to get the results. Visit the website and enter the registration number (and select the scheme of applicable) and you can get the result.
