In every state of India candidates are eagerly waiting for the PSC (Public State Commission) notifications every year.
Tamil Nadu is no exception to this and candidates from different educational backgrounds are eagerly waiting for this exam as this exam directly gives the opportunity to land in the government jobs of the state board. Every state gives its own notification to fill the vacancies and divides the available jobs into different groups. Group 1 usually consist of jobs like DSP, MRO etc where as Group 4 generally consists of clerical cadre jobs. Candidates who are much more qualified than the required also apply for these jobs and this itself shows how crazy these jobs are in every state.
Recently Tamil Nadu State Public Service Commission released a notification to fill 2269 posts in the Group 2 cadre. Candidates who possess any degree from a recognised university are eligible to apply for these posts. Some specific jobs require some specialization in subjects like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Lit., BBM etc. So candidates must be aware of their preferred job qualification before applying. The pay scale for the selected candidates will be in the range of 5200-20200/- along with a grade pay of 2400-2800/-. Those who are interested to apply for this have to pay Rs.125 along with application for their first registration. Those who had already registered have to pay an examination fee of Rs.75.
To apply for Group 2 posts of TNPSC go to the website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net. You will find the menu out of which you have to click on “Apply Online”. In the form you have to select the post you want to apply and fill the other details. After filling all the details check it once and submit the online form. After submitting the online form you have to pay the fee. You can pay the fee directly online by using debit/credit card or net banking or you can even pay via offline mode i.e. by Demand Draft. One must remember to get the scanned copied of photograph and signature before applying online as you will need them while applying.
