Due to its mobility and accessibility, smartphone companies are now designing their smartphones and tablets to employ Windows OS integration. Last time, Samsung had done this in their Galaxy Tab Pro. Right now, Alcatel has joined the laptop-tablet hybrid trend by releasing their newest product, the Plus 10.
Featuring a 10.1-inch, 1280 x 800 pixels resolution display, the Alcatel Plus 10 has a pixel density of 149 ppi. This is somewhat lower compared to others so experts doubt whether it can view your Youtube HD Videos in good resolution. However, the resolution is somewhat high so there’s no doubt that you can view desktop versions of web pages instantly. Since this is a laptop-tablet hybrid, it sure runs in Windows 10 OS platform. In other words, you can also install your windows apps without any hassles, as long as you have available storage.
The chipset and graphics are also interesting. Having an Intel x5-Z8350 quad-core processor and Intel HD 400 graphics, you can expect better performance. Other features include a 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB and 5MP rear-facing shooter with geo-tagging features.
