It has been quite a while since we have heard of Alcatel One Touch but today, we have a stunning addition among the upper entry-level family under with Pop fastened to the moniker. Ready to marvel at the new fashionable sensation in smartphone industry: Alcatel Pop Star.
Design and Display
The name says it all—pop star inside and out the Pop Star is designed to stand up and dominate attention. The brand made three various removable covers that can best match the user’s personality. It has been endowed with one physical home button and 2 capacitive touch keys for navigation purposes. Notable is the absence of the trending fingerprint scanner but the company seemed to reserve that feature for 2016.
On the fascia comes the 5-inch IPS display that may not be the most advance nor competitive in the area of color calibration despite displaying an HD resolution for a screen.
As this one’s an entry level set, our Pop Star can’t have the most glamorous of under-the-hood specs. However, each is decent enough so there’s no need for that frown as the handset was made for the youthful crowd. Check on the specifications below and be the judge if Pop Star here is worth every penny in its €109-129 price tag.
