Gionee GN8001: TENAA Finally Certifies Gionnee’s 6.0” Phablet

TENAA (Chinese equivalent of FCAA) already certified Gionee GN8001, a 6.0-inch phablet with AMOLED screen with metal frame.  Soon enough, we will be seeing what Gionee has to offer us.

 

According to the listing, GN8001 houses an octacore processor, ample 3GB of RAM, 32GB ROM and Google Lollipop OS.  If you are finding the native storage lacking, you don’t have to worry since the device can be accommodate an expansion of up to 128GB via microSD.l Based on the specs, we can come up with a very promising upper-midrange handset here.

GN8001 is also reported to support the latest 4G LTE connectivity as well as 3G, Bluetooth, GPS and USB.  What really excites the crowd is the promising whooping 5,020 mAh battery.

 

Inspecting the photos of the device, we can see a physical home button placed just right below the display and might play a double role of being a fingerprint scanner.  Power lock and volume keys are located at the right side of the handset, making them more accessible to the user.

 

Pricing and release details are yet to be mentioned by the company itself.  But considering that the device was already enlisted, we can only count several weeks before its appearance.
