Huawei Ascend Mate 7

Huawei Ascend Mate 7 Price, Specification, Release Date, Review

With the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2015 lurking very near, mobile companies are busy prepping up their flagships and chief dogs.  Rumors, leaks and spoilers come from the different corners of the world, beating the proper timing of these mobile manufacturers. Amongst the tide of rumors rises Huawei and the information about this giant is something that can really tickle our interest.

While Ascend Mate 7 already debuted at the fall of last year (2014), Huawei is said to make adjustments and make-over for this model.  HDBog.it told us to expect a more compact version of Ascend Mate 7. The proper name is not yet confirmed, so for the meantime we’re going to call this model Ascend Mate 7- Compact. Further, this model will be the flagship (or one of the flagships) of the Chinese mobile titan.

The tipster told us that Mate 7-Compact will be sporting a 5.5-inch screen display which somehow falls just right in between the screen of the original Ascend Mate 7 (6-inch display) and the upcoming Ascend P8 (5-inch display). Moreover, as its predecessor showed-off minimal-to-almost-no margins, the compact version may just observe the same design, too. It has also been made clear by the CEO of Huawei that QHC resolution for their screens is out of question.  They still firmly hold on to their “battery life over screen resolution” principles, which is something that we respect about.

We can’t release any detailed information about Mate 7-Compact specs but we imagine how it will squeeze in a more powerful—albeit, reduced hardware inside a classy exterior.  We can remember that Ascend Mate 7 is powered by HiSilicon Krin 925 chipset and features a whooping 13MP snapper. In any case, all we have to do is to wait for the upcoming MWC 2015 and confirm if this rumor is true for Huawei.
