Huawei Honor 4X offers two variants in 1GB RAM and 2GB RAM in prices of $130 and $160 respectively. While the Chinese mobile manufacturer aggressively competes among leading mobile brands, their strongest selling point is their uber-affordable prices but still retain the quality their other competitors can provide.
As expected with cheap handsets, Honor 4X bears that plastic matte casing but with enough solidness for a good grip. Graphical exhibit of the 5.5-inch screen is something one can just shrug off with its 720 x 1280 IPS display. Topping it, Huawei has endowed Honor 4X with their own interface twist, Emotion 3.0 UI, working hand in hand with Kitkat 4.4.3. Currently, Huawei does not express any confirmation yet as to whether they plan to upgrade the present OS to a more updated Google Lollipop 5.0.
For Honor 4X’s chipset, its maker used Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 clocking in 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It also uses the still-in Adreno 306 GPU, and has the internal storage capacity of 8GB which can be extended through a 32GB microSD.
Meanwhile, the handset is only available within the Chinese boundaries. Huawei is studying possibilities for market expansion, but with peaked interests from the budget-friendly techies, it will soon put the go-signal.
