Huawei is one mobile manufacturer with several tricks on its sleeve. The MWC 2014 was just the right event that the Chinese company chose to launch its chieftain, the MediaPad X1. It was a certified phablet through and through with a titanic 7-inch screen display (like a tablet) and still retaining its calling facilities. This is most probable with X1’s successor, the Huawei Honor X2.
Considering last year’s stunt, it is most probable that Huawei will still choose MWC 2015 event to give its new chieftain the proper honor of its launching. And it is duly since Honor X2 bears a full-metal unibody even though it did not involve the phablet’s dimensions, it might still have the same screen size of 7-inch display with 1920×1200 pixels resolution. Buttons for volume, power and rockers are all displayed in one side Honor X2, reflecting its predecessors design pattern.
The leak-source also indicated premium hardware behind aluminum exterior. It is said that it will have an 8-core Kirin 925 chipset and a whooping 3GB RAM. While other specs are yet undeclared, we can all imagine what the processor will have as partners. And as Chinese brands always offer to mobile associating crowd, Huawei sets a starting price of USD 320 (or 1999 Yuan) for Honor X2. We can only wait for further announcement for Honor X2’s release in markets.
