If you’d do a little research about the LeTV, you will know that the company is not an original phone manufacturer. Instead, LeTV had been famous as something of an Asian Netflix that provides continuous video streaming service. Well, that was how it was known for ages ago. And now, LeTV is a certified phone maker with something special to offer us—LeTV Max, an almost bezel-less smartphone that can be dubbed as elegance incarnate.
LeTV Max displays a gigantic 6.33-inch screen crafted with anorexic thin bezels of mere 1.6mm. The screen to body ratio is reported to be an impressively massive 80.3%. That’s not a joke for a phone feat, mind you. Taking back to the LCD screen display, it is reported to be commissioned by Sharp and has a Quad HD resolution of 1440×2560 pixels.
Under the hood, you will see Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octacore CPU with 4 Cortex-A57 running at 2.0GHz and another 4 Cortex-A53 running at 1.5GHz. To accompany the chipset, LeTV has incorporated a 4GB RAM. For the primary snapper, it commissioned Sony to endow Max an IMX230 image sensor with 21MP 1/2 4” sensor. It is partnered with dual LED flash system for more accurate colors. Rounding up- front, you will see an UltraPixelselfie snapper with 2-micron pixels and an f/2.0 lens, providing 81⁰ field- of- view for group selfie.
Given the specifications, one can’t help but to speculate if this is the Asia’s version of iPhone 6 Plus. We are yet to find out about this in due time but for now, let’s contain our thrill and wait for further announcement of LeTV.
