LG Aka Specification, Release Date, Review, Price

Are you tired of the practical and efficient virtual assistant, Siri? If you’re a cool dude (or gal) who prefers for more personality on your mobile phone, LG Aka is just right for you.

This marketing strategy of LG is pointed to the younger crowd of mobile enthusiasts.  As seen in the pictures, this handset actually projects eyes which convey coded emotions.  Aka is also offered in four different colors that also come with their corresponding names. Each color coded handset has their own “personality” and background story.

The yellow-colored handset is called “Eggy” who has the easy-to-fall-in-love personality. “Wooky” is the white one who is a bully. “YoYo,” the pink one has eating issues; and black “Soul” loves music. Cooler, these folks have their own alien invasion story that will hook you up in no time.

LG Aka is powered by a 1.2GHz quadcore processor, 1.5GB RAM and Android 4.4.  Snappers are an 8mega-pixel rear-facing and 2mega-pixel front.  Display shows off a 5-inch IPS screen with 720ppi density. Since Aka only capacitates a mere 16GB ROM, LG has given microSD slots for expansion.

Aka has been available in South Korean markets since November, 2014.  Currently, it is priced at USD 455 or Rs.  28,100.
