Last February, LG had launched their so-called ‘special edition’ smartphone for their LG G5 smartphone. The release had occurred prior to Apple’s announcement of their special edition phone. That’s the reason why experts thought that the LG G5 SE must feature a 4-inch screen somehow. However, since LG is somewhat notorious of making unexpected things, experts are surprised that it doesn’t have the 4-inch screen, especially during the moment that the LG G5 SE was displayed for public viewing. However, after releasing some of its images on the company’s Russian Website, experts have found out that the LG G5 SE only have some slight difference when compared to LG G5.
Featuring a 5.3 inches, 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution touchscreen with 554 pixels-per-inch density, the LG G5 SE features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, instead of G5’s Qualcomm 820. This is somehow inferior compared to G5’s 820 processor. However, it’s somewhat astonishing to know that even though the Qualcomm 652 is capable of 4G LTE support just like in Snapdragon 820, the LG G5 doesn’t have that feature. Maybe this is due to the fact that if the G5 SE features 4G LTE connectivity, this will somehow affect the G5’s market sales. The RAM is also 1GB less compared to G5’s 4GB RAM but still, it’s way much better compared to RAM sizes of other smartphones.
On the camera side, the LG G5 SE features an 8MP front-facing camera and dual-rear cameras, having 8MP and 16MP sizes, respectively. This ensures you that you can take high-definition photos with great detail while the selfies taken by the front camera will definitely give you a much better shot, compared to other smartphone cameras.
Even though there are no price announcements yet, expect that the LG G5 SE will have a considerably lower price compared to the LG G5. In addition to that, the G5 SE will be available in Gold, Pink and Titanium color versions. And to top it all, the company has revealed that the LG G5 flagship will be released in India in the next quarter, maybe around July or August, as experts anticipated.
