Just a week before, Micromax had released its latest Unite series of smartphones, namely the Micromax Unite 4 and Micromax Unite 4 Pro in India. It is further revealed that the Unite 4 is priced at Rs. 6,999 while the Unite 4 Pro, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 7,499. The Micromax Unite 4 is said to be available for sale in various retail stores all throughout the country while the Unite 4 Pro will be available for purchase online via Snapdeal, which is said to be the exclusive seller of the said model.
Both known as having a metal body along with a bezel display, both smartphone models have a 5-inch IPS screen with a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Taking a peek under its case, the Unite 4 is said to feature a MediaTek quad-core chipset and processor. The Unite 4 Pro, on the other hand, is said to feature a Cortex-A7 quad-core chipset and processor. In addition to these differences, experts have been quick to point out that the Unite 4 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Indus OS 2.0 while having a 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage when compared to the Unite 4 Pro, which is said to run in Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, a 2GB RAM and a 16GB internal storage. And lastly, the Unite 4 has a 2500mAH battery while the Unite 4 Pro has a bigger 3900mAH power grid. Needless to say, both smartphone models do have advantages and disadvantages.
Looking at the camera side, both smartphones are said to feature a 5MP front and an 8MP rear camera. Both internal storages can be expanded up to 32GB more by means of using a microSD card. What’s more interesting with both smartphones is that both can be personalized to use the Country’s local language and dialect. This is to ensure that language barriers won’t be much of a problem for an individual that uses this one.
