Microsoft Lumia 950 XL : The Long Wait for a Chieftain is Over

Windows enthusiasts may find the appearance of this great chieftain phablet a saving grace.  With hardware specs to fall for, it is the perfect masterpiece to show everyone that the newest Windows 10 Mobile is not something that should be missed.  We have to warn Windows enthusiasts and prospective buyers, though.  You are about to see and experience one of the best mobile device specifications up-to-date.

Starting off with the Snapdragon 810 chipset (sorry, but 820 was not chosen) that bears 8 cores for a processor, with 4 clocked at 2.0GHz and the remaining at 1.5GHz.  The SoC is also backed up by liquid cooling system that regulates heat during your Windows Continuum usage and mobile gaming activity. It also supports the latest Cat. 4 LTE connectivity, accommodates the Windows 10 mobile OS (that—mind you—holds the key to much better app ecosystem and cross-platform sharing with desktop computers) and 3GB of RAM.   Oh, did we forget to mention the iris scanner meant for user recognition?  Well, yeah, instead of the now-trending fingerprint scanner, the much later iris sensor was preferred.

Moving on, a 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display graces the front of the phablet and is protected by the technology of Corning Gorilla Glass 4.  Rounding at the back, you will see a 20MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and tri-LED RGB flash support.  The 3340 mAh Li-Ion battery is user replaceable since the brand opted to stay true to its Nokia roots.  This also simply means that Lumia 950 XL users can also replace its back cover and microSD cards.

If you’re interested, you can place your pre-order of Microsoft Lumia 950 XL via Microsoft’s own website.  Hold your breath, though, since the sticker price flashes a whopping $650.   But would you really care if having the phablet means you also have an on-the-go work station with you anywhere?
