Motorola has finally announced last October 2, Thursday, the price for its 360 model smartwatch. With a hefty price tag of Rs. 17,999, it is notably more expensive than most Android smartwatches like LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live (prices Rs. 15,990 and Rs. 14,999 correspondingly) and is only available via online shopping in Flipkart.
Specifically, the new smartwatch Moto 360 displays 1.56-inch backlit LCD of 320x290p resolution, an integrated pedometer and heart-rate monitor (application included) which basically monitors your heart’s well-being. The LCD is protected with a scratch-resistant technology of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartwatch is available in styles of light or dark stainless steel case, attached to a grey or black Horween leather wrist-band. Dimensions indicate 46mm diameter by 11.5 mm high, with a weight of 49 grams. Moto 360 is also compatible in devices with Android 4.3 and above via Bluetooth 4.0 (LE).
Moreover, Moto 360 uses 320mAh battery to power it, and operates on a Texas Instruments OMAP 3 processor. It is also rechargeable via wireless charging and a charging dock completes the power package. The smartwatch also comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. Moto 360 also boasts resistance to water damage in maximum of 3.3 feet and 30 minutes of submergence. Additional features include: single physical button, vibration motor, dual microphones and has ability take voice commands.
With specs given, stated and proven, it is quite reasonable to price Moto 360 with Rs. 17,999. No wonder that it had been sold out last month in the U.S.
