If you are a fan of Windows smartphone then you probably must be quite familiar with Nokia’s finest chain of smartphones which includes the latest Nokia Lumia 1520. A few months ago, there were rumors on the internet about Nokia working on the plan of coming up with a mini version of their smartphone Nokia Lumia 1520 also known as Lumia 1520V (V for Viisi) or Lumia 1520 mini.
This Lumia 1520 did have pretty good specifications that include a 4.4 inch screen with a resolution of 1080p, a rear camera of 14 megapixels, 2 GB of RAM, and an internal storage of 32 GB. This device also had a battery of 3000 mAh. Nokia fans who are awaiting to know the specifications of Lumia 1520 mini could be let down because the screen resolution dropped tremendously from 4.4 inches to 4.3 inches that supports a resolution of only 720p and the battery from 3000 mAh to 2370 mAh, rest all the specifications remain as they were. Do not get disappointed as all these are just rumors and the specifications could change with passage of time.
If the rumors are to be believed, the Lumia 1520 mini could be in from of us by April 2014 which is quite sensible also since Nokia is about to release their new Operating System the Windows 8.1 and their mini version would also be released running on Windows 8.1 which could be an important point of selling Lumia 1520 mini for Nokia. The size of the Lumia 1520 mini somewhat resembles the Apple iPhone in size and also in looks. On a whole, the mini version is quite compact which would easily fit in the pockets of the users.
Unfortunately, there are no such updates or news about the processor the Lumia 1520 mini would be powered by but it would be delighting if the device is powered by Snapdragon 800 processor which is equipped in the Lumia 1520 and also in Sony Xperia Z1 compact.
