Starting at top 3, the rest of our list is already dominated by Samsung devices.  Galaxy Tab S 10.5 comes with Exynos 5 Octa which is Samsung’s very own chipset.  It has 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display, 8MP rear-facing camera and 2.1MP sensor up front.


Since Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has several variants, price starts at $479 with you having a Wi-Fi, 16GB model available at Amazon.


Top 2: Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4

For a mid-sized Android tablet, Tab S 8.4 oozes with so much strength.  It can come either with: 1) four 1.3GHz ARM Cortex-A7 and four 1.9GHz ARM Cortex-A15 processors; or 2) eight of the same processor variant.  These processors are enclosed in Samsung’s own Exynos 5 Octa chipset. Top 1: Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

Yup, this may be a predecessor but that’s the point.  Note 10.1 holds its position as the very first tablet device to have an octacore chipset.  Currently it is run by four ARM Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 1.9GHz and four lesser cores of ARM Cortex-A7 clocked at 1.3GHz.  With 3GB of RAM it runs with fluidity and smooth performance.  However, since we’re talking about an old 2013-2014 model here, Note 10.1 came with Android 4.3 and has been updated for Android 4.4 Kitkat.
