Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 – Leaked Photos and Relative Details

Whenever an interesting, hot device lines up for a certification in TENAA (Chinese agency), we gladly receive the leaked photos.  This is the case for the upcoming flagship of Samsung Galaxy dubbed as Tab S2 8.0 (model no. SM-T715).  Though not yet the official title as the world’s thinnest tablet, S2 8.0 alongside S2 9.7 are expected to grab the title in the nearest future.

The leaked images were first seen in TENAA and were confirmed through a Taiwanese telecommunications authority’s website.  Since then, the images have been circulating around the net.  Checking on FCC, everything seemed to fall into place as a diagram sporting the same dimensions and model number coincided with the circulating photos.

The successor of Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 sports an Octacore processor clocking at 1.9GHz.  Since its from Samsung, it is safe to surmise that it’s going to be an Exynos chipset—most probably the Exynos 7420.  Enticingly, the processing unit will be backed up by 3GB of RAM, 16GB of native ROM and of course the latest Android Lollipop OS.

Furthermore, it will feature a decent 8-inch AMOLED display screen with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio.  Not to be too thrilled with the two snappers, S2 8.0 will be having 8mega- pixel and 5mega- pixel rear- facing and front- facing cameras, respectively.  Yes, they’re quite the standard and rather decent to come with the latest specifications.  If you’re speculating whether LTE support comes as something mandatory for this device, then you might just be wrong.  Rumors have it that LTE connectivity comes only as an option.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is expected to debut in two sizes—an 8-incher and a 9.7-incher.
