TextNow : Unlimited Calls & Texts+ 100% Commitment-free Plans

Wondering what TextNow is and what it has to offer?  TextNow is the world’s first all-IP and cloud-based mobile service carrier that offers enticing opportunity to save bucks but gives you unli-call and text service for convenience.

Plans

What TextNow sets as an edge is its 100% commitment free for all its plans.  Meaning, there will be no contract of any sort, giving the customers to come and go at their will.  Add to that, there are existing penalties for customers who chose to leave.

For their flexible plans, they give 4 various options: tall ($18.99), grande ($26.99), venti ($39.99), and Quattro ($59.99).  Each plan gives the opportunity for US and Canadian residents to have unli-calls and texts within the boundaries of their countries. They also get the basic 2G speeds but the plans vary in terms of 3G/4G services.  Thus, you get 500MB, 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB depending on the aforementioned plans.

Call and texts do not use Wi-Fi connectivity but uses the traditional cellular service through Sprint.

Supported Handsets

Currently, TextNow offers 7 various smartphones: Motorola Moto G (2013), LG Volt 4G LTE, Motorola Moto X (first-gen), LG Nexus 5, Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung Galaxy S4, and the Samsung Galaxy S5.  However, if you don’t want any of these said devices, you can bring in your phone just as long as they come from the following for them to perform correctly:

  • Sprint
  • Sprint Prepaid
  • Virgin Mobile
  • Boost Mobile

App and Connectivity

Sprint’s 4G LTE connectivity pales in comparison to its competitors AT&T and Verizon.  Thus, when you avail TextNow, you may find connecting to 4G a challenge.

The highlight of TextNow’s service comes with its very own app which enables you to send or receive texts and calls just as long as you have your account with them.  This works regardless of handset you use just as long as the app works with your handset.
