Xiaomi Mi 5s and 5s Plus

Xiaomi Mi 5s and 5s Plus Offers a Lot of Internal Storage and Updated Features

Two days ago, the Chinese mobile company Xiaomi had announced two new smartphone models for the last quarter of this year. Usually, when we say that products are Chinese or ‘Made in China’, most of us think that the product’s quality is not good. However, this is definitely NOT the case with Xiaomi. The truth is, experts are quite amazed at how good the company’s products are. What’s more amazing is that Xiaomi’s products keep getting better compared than before.

Making long introductions short, the company’s newly-released smartphones, namely Xiaomi Mi 5s and 5s Plus offers its customers lots of upgraded and varying features. What’s amazing with these two is that it offers a variant that contains a bigger internal storage. The two smartphone models are offering a 128GB internal storage variant, which is quite lot for storing selfies, installing apps, listening to music and much more.

Both featuring 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution IPS LCD display, the Xiaomi 5s and 5s Plus also contains a pressure-sensitive display thanks to the installed Synaptics drivers that accurately determine finger pressure on top of its cover. Light and proximity sensors are also present, therefore ensuring that the response and quality of the display are in its premium condition.

Looking at the other features, both smartphones contain a fingerprint sensor and a metal body that adds to the overall premium feel. Both are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 MSM8996 Pro chipset, 2.35GHz Kryo 64-bit CPU, Adreno 530 GPU and 128GB internal storage. The Mi 5s has a 4GB RAM while the 5s Plus, on the other hand, contains a 6GB RAM for handling various smartphone tasks.

On the camera side, both smartphones feature a 4MP front-facing shooter but differs slightly on the rear one. The Mi 5s features a 12MP rear camera while the 5s Plus has a slightly higher 13MP dual rear camera. Both cameras do contain a Dual LED flash and lots of useful shooting modes and camera settings.

The only downside, however, is the fact that despite having a 128GB internal storage size, both smartphones neither support microSD expansion. In other words, the only storage space that you can use is none other than the storage space left on the smartphone.
