Things that You’ll Need
- Cotton Swabs
- Lip Balm (tinted or not)
- Lip Liner
- Lip Stick
- Highlighter (optional)
First Step – Creating a Smooth Lip Base
Always make sure that you are going to start with smooth, soft lips. In order to do that, exfoliate it by rubbing your lips gently with a cotton swab and some rich, conditioning lip balm. Remove the flaking, dead skin before removing the excess balm with another cotton swab. Your lips would somehow appear soft but not greasy or slippery.
Second Step – Filling in and Defining those Lips
This can be achieved by filling cracks or pigmentation in your lips entirely with a lip liner. Slightly overdraw your lip edges and make sure not to forget those lip corners, where most people lack pigmentation. Stretch your lips by making a close-mouth style smile to get a better coverage.
Third Step – Applying the Lip Color
Choose your desired lip color and then apply it in your lips. However, make sure that you choose the right color, though.
Last Step – Highlighting Your Lips (Optional)
If you want to get more improved results, put a tiny amount of highlighter in the middle part of your upper lip. This will definitely make your lips appear fuller-looking.
