For most people especially women, having bigger pores are a nightmare. Aside from lessening one’s own confidence, having bigger pores could also mean bigger problems. Since pores are a form of our skin’s opening, dirt and oil could definitely clog it. And when this happens, skin-attacking bacteria will have their own feast.
Setting other issues aside, there are three easy ways for you, whether you’re a man or a woman, in order to minimize these bigger pores.
First Step – Use a Pore-Refining Primer
If you want to reduce your pore’s size, you can apply a pore-refining primer as filler before putting on your foundation. If you have an oily skin, use primers than contain a matte finish to reduce shine and pore’s overall visibility. Apply a thin layer into your skin (face) by using a foundation brush or a beauty blender sponge to the concerned (where pores appear bigger) areas. Wait for one minute before applying foundation or BB Cream on top for right finish.
Second Step – Applying a Pore-unclogging Mask
If we want lasting results, we must also take a look to the root cause of the problem itself. Unknown to most of us, oil and dirt in your pores areas take up a rather large space, therefore adding up your pores’ size. Applying a pore-unclogging mask for at least once a week, along with your most-trusted astringent or cleanser, helps reduce or remove most of it in your skin area. Just put a mask on for at least 15-20 minutes at least once or twice a week in order to get lasting and visible results.
Third Step – Using a Longer-lasting Concealer
A long wear concealer not only prevents makeup slide-offs; it also minimizes pores while standing all elements in your makeup routine at the same time. This should be applied lightly and blended well by using a foundation brush or a beauty blender sponge. Apply foundation first before blending in your concealer to make it stay in place.
