Just like other presidents before his time, US President Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, also proposed an economic plan that he thinks will make America much better. Listed below are some of his economic plans for the US that Donald Trump proposed and enforced now that he is the US President:

  1. Terrorist-free America – About a week ago, President Trump had signed a 90-day executive order banning ALL RESIDENTS from seven countries, namely Syria (banned indefinitely), Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Somalia and Sudan from entering the country. For exactly ninety days, the US Homeland Security will examine and determine which countries in the world do not provide adequate information in their Visa Applications. Doing this will make sure that the application process will not be exploited by terrorists that are trying to enter the country.

  1. US-Mexico Wall – Originally revealed during his presidential campaign, President Trump now signed an executive order that will enforce the construction of a wall that will reinforce the existing 2,000-mile US-Mexico Border. Estimating the cost to be between 10 to 20 billion USD, he is also resolved to make the Mexico pay for the expenses afterwards. If Mexico wouldn’t comply with his demands, he said that he will change a rule under the USA Patriot Act that will make the US Government confiscate illegal Western Union money transfers to Mexico.

  1. Keystone XL and Dakota Access Pipeline Construction – President Trump also signed an order in regards to the construction of Keystone Pipeline, an oil pipeline that will ship high-grade Canadian Crude Oil to refineries in the Gulf of Mexico. Even though the costs for transporting the crude oil will be lessened, the domestic supply of oil inside the country will be lessened, making its overall price higher.

  1. Minimize US Military Expenses – Even though he proposed to minimize expenses of all US Government Departments, his primary concern is none other than the expenses incurred by the US Military, which is estimated to be at least US$800 billion a year. He also plans to appoint his son-in-law Jared Kushner as a special envoy in order to broker peace between Israel and Palestine.
