Acura RDX 2016 : Getting Back to the Motto

Acura became a legendary Japanese carmaker due to its “Precision Crafted Performance” motto, a huge statement which directly challenged even the big European names in the automobile industry.  Sadly, they weren’t able to uphold to their mission but then at least we can see their back-to-the track efforts through the body of 2016 Acura RDX.

RDX falls under the division of compact luxury crossovers and SUVs.  It runs with the European giants under the names of BMW (X3), Mercedes Benz (GLC-class) and Porsche (Macan S), with it ranked #4 with these biggies.

Voila! New Highlights

RDX has a new fascia which appeals more than the original unruly look it gave us.  This year you get the LED headlights in dramatic rhombus shape and slant array, rendering a squinting look.  Also, you get the opportunity to have a four-wheel drivetrain, power sunroof, a power tailgate, leather upholstery, ELS premium audio, Pandora and Bluetooth connectivity all for the price of $44,340.

Dynamics

The 6-speed automatic gearbox combined to the V6 engine brings out a powerful chase even in auto mode.  It operates smoothly and quietly on the roads even on bumpy and challenging surfaces. For an average driver, RDX meets more than expectation.

All in all, RDX makes a decent compact SUV although deciding on its silent comfort and opulent components.  However if you want something for a much exciting driving experience, RDX may not make the cut.
