Against its contemporaries and rivals, Cadillac is one name revered and taken with stiff upper lip. If you’re going for the best of the lot, try Cadillac CTS-V which sits just right at the top of the pyramid.
It ranks first among the top contenders under the premium sports sedan category, revving against Audi S6, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG 4MATIC and Jaguar XFR / XFR-S.
Exterior and Interior
Recaro sport seats were installed for you to sit upon; and for the tires, Cadillac endowed their sedan with Michelin’s Pilot Super Sport tires forged on aluminum wheels. Helping your grip is the $300 faux-suede steering wheel which is the answer to the little problem with the lack of feedback for the steering.
Engine, Transmission and Price
Despite the fact that the core of this beast is merely borrowed from the engine platform of Corvette Z06, we marvel at its 640 horse power all the same. Partnered with the electronically controlled 8-speed auto transmission, electrically assisted power steering and magnetorheological dampers, performance is closest to perfection. Unfortunately, though, you may find the steering lacking on the feedback.
