Car remodeling can be a tricky business even for the automobile giants in the likes of Mustang, Charger and Chevrolet. They have a fair share of their own success and misfortune. In the mid-2000’s, the revival of muscle cars marked yet another competition of these three of the said category. Exterior and the V6 Engine
Let’s begin with the exterior and looking at it, one can only whistle. That’s how good Chevy’s 6th gen Camaro is. Its strapping renders nimbler and lighter (not to mention that it is conveniently modern). About 70 percent of Camaro is unique though some of it is attributed from the Cadillac ATS. It is two inches shorter by length and an inch shorter by height compared to its 2015 predecessor. Chevy also endowed it with a lot of aluminum to make it lighter. Simply put, it is a sportier version of its old self.
Aside from the 8-speed auto variant, Chevy also put efforts into making a V6 with 6-speed manual transmission for those who always want control. It can summon 335 horsepower and 284 pound-foot of torque.
Interior
As mentioned earlier, the interior exudes modern appeal. It is mostly finished in premium black plastic and the instrument cluster, together with the climate controls and infotainment system, are neatly organized for accessibility. The leather panel was groomed with stitching that results class. A flat-bottomed steering wheel provides the feels for the man behind the wheel, and greatly supports Camaro’s steering dynamics. Fortunately for the driver, the interior design compels comfort on his part more than that of the passengers.
Newer technologies were incorporated such as the HD color displays and ambient lighting system. Overall, the interior exudes comfort and style.
