Last year, most experts thought that the Camaro Z/28 is the best one that Chevrolet has to offer in Camaro series when it comes in both looks and speed. However, they are awe-stricken when they finally realized that the company showed their latest car during the last 2016 New York Auto Show. What doubles their awe is the fact that the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 isn’t a flagship of the ever-expected sixth-generation Camaro.
Even though performance tests aren’t performed yet in this new Camaro, experts have many nice and very good things to say about the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. In both coupe and convertible versions, it is very undeniable that the ZL1’s looks are very jaw-dropping. The 20-inch diameter wheels, air intakes, splitter and wings are very impressive.
In addition to these, it is well worth noting that the ZL1 has a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V-8 engine that runs in 640 horsepower. It is also noticed that the heat-monitoring features in engine are also included in order to keep the engine’s temperature in check. Even though the engine’s horsepower isn’t exactly chart-topping, just one look at the convertible version and you will definitely feel the speed, especially with its top lowered. As a whole, the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is definitely a must-try for those who want to have both looks and speed in their cars.
