This car, the Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew had just topped every other car as America’s favorite off-roader! We all know that the two-door Ford F-150 SVT Raptor dominates the Off-Road Pickup Truck Market. And now a much-better version of Ford Raptor is now revealed in Detroit’s Auto Show, along with its four doors. Don’t ever take it that the two additional doors had just made the difference, though. This one has surprisingly good and noticeable upgrades, not to mention its 500-pound weight loss, compared to the previous Raptor.
Under the Hood
This Raptor has a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine, which runs at 411-hp and contains 434 lb-ft torque, though the fact still remains that the company itself haven’t released the official numbers..yet. But despite all of that, they hinted that the engine will definitely outmuscle the other Raptor’s overall engine performance, therefore adding up to our excitement. Due to its significant 500-pound weight loss diet due to its aluminum-reinforced body, along with a 10-speed automatic transmission, this one is expected to bear a 0-60 mph acceleration that is a lot quicker than its Raptor predecessor and other off-roaders. Its torque-on-demand four-wheel drive plus a new terrain response system with six available modes is definitely a force to reckon with during your off-road times. And since it’s lighter than the previous one, better expect that it’s also fuel-efficient, if someone is primarily concerned about that matter at all.
