Ford Focus RS 2016 : The Third Generation Has Finally Arrived

Ford released the third generation of Focus RS and that this model received a revolutionary all-wheel-drive system that’s all set to conquer global markets.  Yes, this is the first ever Focus RS model that will be available worldwide including the United States of America wherein the 2.3L EcoBoost engine variant is ready to prevail.

Exterior

The front fascia has been exaggeratedly highlighted by a spunky-looking trapezoidal grille together with front splitter that goes down further to give you a better view of the intercooler.  It also features large outboard aperture on each side of the front bumper that act as air-feeder to regulate temperature for the front brakes.  We also need to mention the vertical fog lamps that complete the dramatic front ensemble.

 

The RS features 19-inch light alloy wheels that come as an exclusive for this model and together with the Liquid Blue body paint, it simply commands attention.

 

 

Interior

As expected, RS is endowed with sporty interior starting off with the Recaro sports seats, flat-bottomed steering wheel and alloy sports pedals. European and Asian customers will be given the option to pick a pair of signature RS Recaro shell seats clad in genuine motorsport microfiber fabric panels.

 

SYNC connectivity comes as standard to all RS and includes audio system, climate control system, satellite navigation or smartphone features via 8-inch touch screen or voice commands.
