As compact sedan, crossover types seem to dominate the wildest imaginations of the practical ones, Jaguar offers their hottest model, F-Pace Crossover. The crossover actually bears the concept of C-X17 as revealed in the Frankfurt Motor Show two years ago (2013). It’s everything that William Lyon, the founder of Jaguar, balances for his own models—grace, pace and space as seen in the line of F-Type family. Since F-Pace is earlier labeled as a “performance Crossover,” let’s take a look at what this Jaguar babe has to offer:
Exterior
Seen in electric blue body paint, it looks equally cool and sporty all the same. The vertical lattice chrome-grille in down front fascia and mean-looking headlights are all signature aspects of C-X17. Jaguar used their Advanced Aluminium Architecture to strengthen and redefine the mule’s exterior design.
- of Doors : 5 Doors (hatchback)
Interior
Perfectly conceptualized for a family’s comfort, the interior of F-Pace has been made practically roomy. Originally, the center console took space enough to split the rear seats into a mere two-seater. However, post production states that this factor is eliminated, concluding a five-seat capacity.
- Passenger Capacity : 5 passengers
Engine and Transmission
Multiple engine selection is expected for our F-Pace model. While further specifications are still left in the dark, we can just imagine this mule to pack the following:
- Engine : 3.0-liter Supercharged V6/ V8-R
- Torque : 501lb ft
- Power : 542bhp
Price and Release Date
Jaguar announced that F-Pace will go on sale by 2016 but has not revealed about its price. However, spectators expect £50,000 (roughly $75,710) price tag for the F-Type model.
