The 2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk despite its very masculine moniker cannot help but take comments such as cute, dainty and adorable. Spectators may even be tempted to pat it on the roof and say, “Good boy!” – that’s how totally adorable it can be. However, don’t take this subcompact crossover lightly as it revs up in competition against the likes of lean Mazda CX-3 and intimidating Nissan Juke.
Exterior and Interior
As you can see even in photos, the outward appearance of Trailhawk gives off the cheery design, reminiscent of the boxy car of Mr. Bean in the cartoons. Yep, that one with lime green body paint! It still bears the familiar features of a Jeep: 7-slot grille and highlighted shield. It also gets the robust tires, wide fenders, lifted belt line and door-mounted side mirrors.
Getting inside, you can see that the interior features a ruggedly energetic theme from its brand’s four key principle—emotional design impact, premium materials, accented by colors and texture, state-of-the-art technology, and cleverly developed space and storage.
Under the Hood
The 4-cylinder base can summon a decent 180hp and 175 lb.-ft. torque. Together with its nine-speed automatic, Trailhawk’s performance can put smile to its driver. It may not be the best on its field but the satisfaction is definitely there for you. Other than that, the fuel economy of this babe is quite astounding with 21 MPG within city bounds and 29 MPG on highways.
