It was seven years ago since the last make-over of Lexus LX570. No, it wasn’t because the brand purposely cut the budget for it, but that the clients love the way it looked.
For 2016, Lexus updated the many good qualities LX570 had starting off with the elegantly designed fascia, to the modernized cabin, and to the core of this elegant creation. Not to be contested, this one is an authentic SUV down to the core. It is sure to compete with the giants like Mercedes-Benz GL class, Land Rover Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz G-class.
Revamped Exterior
The front façade of LX570 was compressed, wearing the standard LED lamps, turn indicators and fog lamps. From bulging and bulky, it has toned down and furnished with angular development casting a glamor of sleekness and edginess. For the wheels, it comes with in standard 20 inches with 10 spokes, but an optional of 21-inch, ten-spoke set comes handy should you want an alternative.
Mixture of Old and New
While there’s an apparent huge change outside, we can only say a little about the under-the-hood components. For short, you can marvel at the conglomeration of classic and modern when you open the hood. It retained the 5.7L V8 but ditched the 6-speed automatic for a much capable 8-speed auto gearbox.
Lexus enthusiasts can sustain their grin with the familiar Drive Mode Select System which enables a driver to select from the available 4 modes working closely with the suspension. Comfort has been prioritized through Adaptive Variable Suspension for a pleasant ride experience.
