Maruti Ciaz price, review, release date

After sales setbacks on their Vitara, Kizashi and SX4—the latter’s reproduction stopped not a long time ago—Maruti is now back on track with its powerfully equipped and sleekly designed sedan.  Maruti Ciaz wins market in India’s Auto Expo 2014 by its features straight from the concept of ‘Suzuki Authentics Concept.’ This new model supplants its SX4 predecessor with its unspoken command and more superior details.

Designs and Interior

Maruti Ciaz looks comparable to its contemporary, the Suzuki Alivio which was spotted earlier in China.  However, comparing this latest model to SX4, it promises a great deal of class and elegance that SX4 had failed to exhibit.  Ciaz looks edgier and more asymmetrical, attracting a much larger crowd of fascinated customers in the market.

The sedan features a four chrome-colored lattice, highlighting the Suzuki emblem as its center piece.  The projector headlights are also present as also with the fog lamps in chrome beat, giving it a dash of flashy persona.  A solid line coming from the front fender to the taillights can be seen at the side view.  It drives with spike- patterned wheels in deep shade of grey.  Tail lamps are Honda City 2014 inspired, though they’re more rotund and accentuated.

Interior bespeaks simple elegance and total comfort for both the driver and passengers.  The dashboard itself exposes a dual-toned motif, synthetic wood inserts and leather in mute color. It has a 7” SmartPlay infotainment as centerpiece, offering audio, navigation, Bluetooth and rear camera benefits.  The stirring wheel is leather wrapped and can be lightly stirred, much for the comfort of the man (or woman) behind the wheels.  Furthermore, the driver’s seat is height adjustable.

Backseat passengers are not left out of these petty comforts as the rear seats are spacious.  They can secure their mobile phones through a back pocket of the front seat, arm rest with cup holders, and AC vents… features indicating that Ciat is not shabby for a sedan.

Execution and Performance

Ciaz uses a pertrol powered 1.4 liter K-series engine enough to be patrolled among city traffic and the expressway.  However, if you’re delusional for a more sporty kind of a car, (sorry to say) but Ciaz is definitely not a sports kind. However, it can gear you up into 160kmph and can still leave you with that satisfactory grin on your lips.

Maruti Ciaz is a certified fuel economizer since it is manufactured by India’s leading mileage master.  Ciaz holds the ARAI figure of 26.21kmpl for diesel and 20.73kmpl in petrol which is really admirable, and can be highly applauded by users for being a budget-friendly character.

Safety Features

Suzuki’s Total Effective Control Technology is uniquely designed for safety measures and light driving; meaning Ciaz bears and a light but sturdy carriage.  Ciaz strictly adheres to the standard quality airbags for drivers and top variants.

Available Car Colors and Price

Maruti Ciaz comes in classy shades of Pearl Metallic Arctic White, Midnight Black, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Clear Beige, Chocolate Brown and Fire Brick Red.  Price varies from INR 7.25 lakhs (base petrol) to INR 9.75 lakhs (top diesel).

While bigger competitors like Honda, Hyundai and Toyota earn their spots as top sedan car-maker, Suzuki earns a spot with Maruti Ciaz.  Indeed, this model surely caters to the taste (and budget) of sedan shoppers.  It may not be an easy feat for Suzuki, but being the top fuel economizer greatly matters these days. With Ciaz as pilot and another series of more promising designs, surely broader horizons await for the Suzuki Company.
