Maserati Levante: The Company’s First SUV

Due to the fact that SUVs are now accumulating more consumer demand, almost all car companies are now making those in order to have more potential market income. And now, Maserati has joined the scene by showing off their first SUV in public prior to 2016 Geneva Auto Show.

Instead of Jeep Grand Cherokee, the SUV is said to be based on Quattroporte and Ghibli sport sedan’s architecture. As of now, we know that the car’s overall profile rivals that of Jaguar F-Pace, which is another high-performance luxury vehicle. It is expected that it will also feature the mentioned sedans’ V-6 and V-8 turbocharged engines. The V-6 is going to be offered to European Consumers while the V-8 targets those who live in the U.S. and other countries. It is also noted that the engine will have the 8-speed automatic as the standard transmission and a rear-wheel drivetrain. As it is, you can see that this one is especially designed for explorations during winter.
