McLaren 570GT 2017 : The Most Luxurious Entry-Level Supercar as of Date

As we all know, when people say luxury cars, most people expect that the car, whatever category it belongs to, must have the features that are fit for a king such as high-class windows, jaw-dropping interior upholstery, high-end infotainment systems and much more. Needless to say, the car must be worth every penny when it comes to the prestige and features that it offers. However, it’s very surprising to know that McLaren had a rather different answer. And that’s how the 2017 McLaren 570GT enters the scene.

Being a premium sports car, the 2017 McLaren 570GT is the most luxurious entry-level supercar as for the time of this writing. Even though McLaren had given the experts a different answer compared to what is expected, the company still managed to get the experts’ approval.

Under the Hood

Featuring a twin-turbocharged and inter-cooled V-8 engine, expert tests have shown that the 2017 McLaren 570GT is equipped with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and runs at 562 horsepower and 443 pound-foot torque. Known to have a rear-wheel drivetrain, its engine is known to have a whopping 2.8 seconds zero-to-sixty mph acceleration time. Even though the 204 mph top speed isn’t a chart-topping performance, still there’s no doubt that the 570GT ride is nonetheless smooth and seamless.

Exterior and Interior

Significant changes are noticeable in the 2017 McLaren 570GT’s rear bodywork and its glass tailgate. Under the car’s carbon fiber-framed hatch lies the touring deck, which is actually a leather-lined rear trunk equipped with baggage straps. Along with the front trunk, the car can easily carry at least 12 feet worth of cargo.

In order to test the touring deck’s efficiency, car experts had their car stacked up with chocolates and have the car driven in an eighty-mile-long journey. To their own amazement, even though the V-8 engine is known to get hotter as the time passes, the heat doesn’t actually affect the chocolates that are inside the baggage. Needless to say, you can easily store perishable goods without worrying that the engine heat would spoil it so quickly.

Additional features include a panoramic-style glass roof, a bigger and much brighter cabin, more NVH reduction material and dihedral doors.
