The French 2016 Peugeot 308 GTi 270 is a conventional hatchback that may lack the oozing sexiness of other more popular European cars but surely wows in performance. Take note that it also shares the GTI letters like in Volkswagen which makes it a fuel-injection car model.
Exterior and Interior
Peugeot 308 GTi 270 gets an optional two-tone red and black paint job to split the front and back portions. While it may not be everybody’s style, it is becoming the brand’s signature style for its performance models. It also sports an upgraded 19-inch wheels, aero kit, wider track, bigger brakes, dropped suspension, improved rolling stock and full-LED headlamps.
The cabin of a car has also been enhanced which include flat-bottomed steering wheel, still plates, full-grain leather, Alcantara-upholstered sport buckets and aluminum pedals and shifter.
Power and Performance
The core of this Golf-sized hatchback is the 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can summon 266 horsepower @ 6000 rpm and 243 pound-foot torque @1900 rpm. Meanwhile, the brakes which give tireless retardation are worth applauding for.
Pricing and Release
Unfortunately, it will never be available in the U.S. markets and will be exclusive only in the European soil at the starting price of €37,200 in its homeland.
