Right after its debut in 2016 India Auto Expo, the latest model of the popular compact MPV is now rumored to be released in India by mid-2016.
Under the Hood
According to rumors, the MPV’s engine will come in two flavors: the 2.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and the 2.0-liter diesel engine. It is said to be offered in either 5 or 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Since this one is based on Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) Platform, it is said that this model is going to be lighter than usual. It is said also that this one will be offered in either 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive system.
Exterior
In just a glance, you can all say that this is no different than the previous model. However, a closer look will reveal a two thick chrome-slatted new hexagonal grille, LED daytime running lights and swept-back head lamps. It is also noticeable that the Toyota Innova has new redesigned tail-lamp matching rear bumpers. Even though the wheelbase remains the same with the former models, this one had slight changes when it comes to its dimensions.
Interior
This MPV is said to offer features such as power windows, touchscreen infotainment and navigation systems, Bluetooth connectivity and much more.
