The Swedish car maker, Volvo, has made its first uncontested sedan, setting standards in its own category. Volvo S60 Cross Country is a crossover of roadster, wagon… and sedan packed in one solid output.
Sleek. Class. Monochromatic. These are descriptive words meant for the S60 Cross Country’s skin. The honey-comb design grille flashing the Volvo insignia in front façade, the sable-painted door mirrors and its 2.6-inch higher elevation on deck states a practical but impressive exterior.
Volvo S60 Cross Country interior design speaks of blended simplicity and modernity. The dashboard is complete with revolutionary navigation and temperature control panels with infotainment touchscreen panel. To top the interior qualities is the innovative CleanZone Air Quality System—again—which is meant for the overall safety and health of the driver and passengers. Active carbon filters do the wonders of making indoor air and odor pleasant for passengers. It also enables automatic closing of air vents when the sensor deems it necessary.
Engine and Transmission
While Volvo is conscious of power performance and smooth drive in most terrains, it does not exclude environmental impact as it committed to eco-friendly approach in all angles. Meanwhile, engine performance through Drive E technology ensures low-fuel emission and utilization.

With the technology of Intellisafe exposing Adaptive Crusing Control System, 360-degree camera monitor, active high beam, park assist pilot, blind spot information and Lane Keeping Aid system, Volvo made their point for safety measures.
While it’s not yet confirmed, Volvo S60 Cross Country is estimated to bear the price tag starting at USD 40,000.
